    About this map

The 1883 plat (State Historical Society of North Dakota, de Mores Collection 00042-00183) is fitted to today's survey corners. Today's lots line up with its north-side grid. East of the river the plat draws the track somewhat south of today's line. Buildings placed from written descriptions are educated guesses and are marked that way.

Research notes, sources and the data behind this map are in the TRsMedora repository. An internal experiment of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.
